Adding practitioners and staff members

Your Fullscript dispensary supports multiple practitioners and staff members for clinics and private practices with multiple employees. You can add new and review existing staff members from the Staff page. 

To get to the Staff page:

  1. Click Settings in the navigation bar. On mobile devices, tap the menu icon ( ), then Settings.
  1. Click Staff.

Adding practitioners

New practitioners can be added to your dispensary from your Staff page. To invite a practitioner to your store:

  1. Click + Invite staff.
  1. Complete the required fields, including selecting the practitioner type.
  2. Under Additional, choose the permissions the staff member needs. You can grant Analytics and financial reports access, Storefront access, and Edit storefront content.
  3. Click Send invite. Invited practitioners must activate their accounts from the invitation email before they can log in.

Additional practitioners can create plans and add patients to the dispensary. To allow additional practitioners to create new plans and view plan history for all patients in the dispensary, global patient access must be enabled. This setting is enabled by default.

Tip!

If they’re a license provider, additional practitioners can also act as a signing practitioner for labs.

Adding staff

Administrative staff can also be added to your dispensary from your Staff settings page.

To add administrative staff to your dispensary:

  1. Click + Invite staff.
  1. Complete the required fields.
  2. Select Office staff.
  3. Under Additional, choose the permissions the staff member needs. You can grant Analytics and financial reports access, Storefront access, and Edit storefront content.
  4. Click Send invite to invite them to the dispensary. Invited staff must activate their accounts from the invitation email before they can log in.

Staff members can add patients and assign them to practitioners when global patient access is off. They can also create and resume individual plans, place patient orders, and place wholesale orders.

Note:

Use a unique email address for each staff member to help keep accounts secure.

Accepting and resending invitations

New practitioners and staff will receive invitations to their email inbox once an account has been created with their email address. They must accept the invitation to be able to sign in to the dispensary.

If the invite can’t be found, try checking spam and junk folders first. If it still isn’t found, try resending the invitation before contacting our support team. 

To resend an invitation:

  1. From Settings, select Staff.
  2. Click the staff member whose invitation you’d like to resend.
  3. Click Resend invite in the top-right corner.

Note:

The Resend invite option is only available for staff members who haven’t accepted their invitation yet.

Tip!

Lost invites may be the cause of an error when the email address was entered. To review and correct the login and invite email for new staff, click Edit info from the more options menu. Correct as needed, then resend the invite.

‘Email already taken’ error

If you receive an ‘Email already taken‘ error when creating a practitioner account that already exists. Since an email can only support one practitioner account, we recommend using an alternate email.
