Getting started
Fullscript is an online dispensing solution for personalized treatment planning, ongoing wellness support and education, and healthcare’s best supplements. This guide walks you through completing your account for patient orders to be placed successfully. Consider booking a demo with us for a personalized walkthrough of your account with one of our onboarding specialists.
Before orders can be placed, you need to:
- Create your account
- Provide your address
- Upload your healthcare credentials
- Select an account type: profit or no-profit
- Profit account types require additional personal or business information.

Step 1: Creating an account
Click here to sign-up for an account. From the sign-up form (shown below), select your profession or specialization and select a sign-up option to continue. Create your account securely with Google SSO or select Continue with email to manually enter your email address and set a password.

Note: The email address used to create a new dispensary can't be in use by another practitioner or patient account. We recommend using an alternate email address, changing the email address of your existing account to an alternate email, or reaching out to our Customer Success team to deactivate the other account. Learn more.
Completing the account setup checklist
You're welcome to explore your dispensary at this stage once you've logged in, but some pages will be inaccessible until your account setup is complete. To finish setting up your account, select the next task in the checklist or select the orange banner from the top of the page.
At any point during your account setup, select I'll finish this later to save your progress and exit the modal.
Select the 'Complete account setup' banner or the next task in the checklist to get your account order ready.
Step 2: Complete your address
Here you'll need to enter your address information. This is solely used to verify you as the account holder. All information provided is securely encrypted.

Step 3: Upload your credentials
Next, upload your healthcare license or certification for review. Your credentials must be approved before patients can begin placing orders through your dispensary. Reviews are typically completed within 1 business day.
After uploading your credentials, a 'pending review' banner will display in your account until your credentials are approved. We'll also send an email to your inbox confirming your account is order-ready.

Step 4: Select your account type
Finally, select your account type — profit or no-profit. Profit margins vary by region and account type.
If you choose a no profit account type, you can opt-in to earn a profit later by going to the Payment settings page in your Dispensary Settings and providing additional information.

No profit vs. profit account types
No-profit dispensaries benefit from a simpler sign up experience and avoid tax implications. With a No-profit model, patients are eligible for a 10% discount in the dispensary.
By choosing a profit account, you can earn a margin of patient sales placed through your dispensary. As a profit account holder, you become the seller of record and authorize direct deposit payouts to your bank account. Additional personal or business information is required to set up a Stripe Connect account and verify your identity.

Note: When a profit account is selected, you must provide your personal or business information (including your full SIN or business number) and add a bank account to earnings from patient sales.
Profit accounts only: Add a bank account to receive payouts
Your direct deposit information for a bank account needs to be provided to transfer your earnings to you. Profit won’t be earned on any patient orders placed prior to adding your bank account or on orders where the maximum discount was applied to the order. Enter your bank account and click submit to complete your account setup and close the modal.
