An introduction to MyHerbPharm

MyHerbPharm is an online pharmacy that offers a full range of services for patients and practitioners. The platform is designed to make it easy for patients and practitioners to prescribe and purchase herbs. MyHerbPharm features TCM software that connects practitioners, patients, and compounding pharmacies.

Integration setup: MyHerbPharm + Fullscript

The MyHerbPharm + Fullscript integration uses oAuth to set up and activate the integration. Each user on MyHerbPharm can integrate with their Fullscript dispensary or sub-practitioner account.

To integrate MyHerbPharm with Fullscript:

1. Log into MyHerbPharm and click the Fullscript card.

   

2. Choose to Sign In to your Fullscript account or, Sign Up for one and click Continue.

   

3. Click Agree to authorize the integration.

   

4. If the integration is successful, the Fullscript card will say Connected.

Creating a Fullscript recommendation in MyHerbPharm

To create a new recommendation in MyHerbPharm:

1. Click the Create Prescription card.

   

2. Search for a patient by name in the search field or from the list alphabetically. Once you’ve found them, click SELECT from under the PRESCRIPTIONS tab.

   

3. After a patient has been selected, Fullscript will either locate their profile or, if their profile hasn’t been synced, Fullscript will provide a list of potential matches. To select the patient’s profile, click Select. If you need to create a profile for the patient, click Create new patient.

   

4. The Fullscript treatment plan tool will load to write and send recommendations. Search the catalog for the desired products, search through favorites, or add a protocol and click Send recommendation when ready.

   

5. Once you’ve sent the recommendation, you’ll be taken to the confirmation page and will have the option to view and copy the recommendation in plain text by clicking View plain text then Copy plain text.

   

Viewing past recommendations in MyHerbPharm

To view a patient’s past recommendations in MyHerbPharm:

1. From the dashboard, click Create prescription.
2. Search for your patient in the list and click Select.
3. From the Fullscript tab, click Formula > from the bottom of the page.

How much does it cost to use MyHerbPharm?

MyHerbPharm costs $59 a month for its Pro Plan and $19 a month for its Student Plan. Patients can set up an account on MyHerbPharm for free. Please refer to the MyHerbPharm site for more details.

Do I have to add clients to Fullscript before sending them a recommendation in MyHerbPharm?

No, MyHerbPharm allows users to add patients to Fullscript upon creating their first recommendation for that specific client. In the embedded Fullscript Recommendation Tool, users can click the Create new patient button and enter the necessary details. After clicking the Create and start recommendation button, the client’s basic information will be transmitted to Fullscript and they will receive the standard setup notifications via email.

What types of practitioners use MyHerbPharm?

MyHerbPharm is primarily used by Acupuncturists and Herbalists.
