Overview

Give your patients access to high-quality supplements without a prescription or appointment with sharable wellness protocols — an easy way to grow your practice that supports one-to-many care.

Build your own protocols or upload Fullscript-curated protocols for your patients to browse and order from confidently.

Sharing protocols with all patients

Practitioners can share general wellness protocols with all patients without sending a personalized prescription. Sharing with all patients will not send an email notification.

To share a general wellness protocol with all patients:

1. Navigate to the Protocols page by hovering over the Prescriptions tab and selecting Protocols. On mobile devices, tap the menu (  ), then Prescription, followed by My protocols.
   
   
   

   Note: Instead of Prescriptions, your dispensary terminology settings may label this tab as Recommendations. You can change terminology in your Account Settings at any time.

2. Hover over a protocol, then click Share. 
   
   
   
   
3. In the Share protocol modal shown below, click Make public from the Patients tab.
   
   
   
   
4. Lastly, click Share with all patients to make the protocol available to all of your patients!
   
   

Tip! You can copy the link to your clipboard to share the protocol with anyone outside of your Fullscript dispensary.

Sharing protocols with select patients

Practitioners can share general wellness protocols with specific patients without sending a personalized prescription. Automated emails are sent when protocols are shared with select patients.

To share a protocol with select patient accounts:

1. Navigate to the Protocols page by hovering over the Prescriptions tab and selecting Protocols. On mobile devices, tap the menu (  ), then Prescription, followed by My protocols.
2. Find the protocol you'd like to share.
3. Hover over the protocol, then click Share.
   
   
   
   
4. In the modal, check the box next to each patient you're sharing the protocol with.
5. Click Share protocol. Selected patients are sent emails as new protocols are shared.
   
   

Note: Use the search field to search for patients that aren't shown in the modal. The number of patients shown in this window is limited to avoid sluggish load times.

Sharing public protocols externally (via URL)

Link your public protocols to emails, newsletters, and/or your website to share protocols outside of Fullscript. Patients without an existing account can follow these links to sign up, while existing patients will be prompted to log into their accounts, where they can then view and order products from shared protocols.

To copy a protocol's URL to share outside of Fullscript:

1. Navigate to the Protocols page by hovering over the Prescriptions tab and selecting Protocols. On mobile devices, tap the menu (  ), then Prescription, followed by My protocols.
2. Hover over the protocol you would like to share and select Copy link to copy the unique URL to your clipboard.
   

   Note: Protocols must be shared publicly in order to generate and copy a link.

3. Paste the URL in emails, online newsletters, your website, etc., to share the protocol with your client base outside of Fullscript.

Sharing protocols as a sub-practitioner

As a sub-practitioner in a dispensary, your ability to share protocols will be affected by the Global patient access settings managed by the dispensary owner.

By default, global patient access is turned on, and sub-practitioners can't share protocols. Instead, sub-practitioners can apply protocols to new plans for individual clients.

If global patient access is turned off, you will be able to share protocols with patients who are assigned to you.

The patient experience

Patients can view your shared protocols in the Shared protocols tab in their accounts. When viewing a shared protocol, patients can see recommended products and their descriptions, download attachments, and read custom messages.

If a patient decides to adopt a protocol into their wellness plan, they can add all or individual products to their cart and place an order. Patients can refer to protocols in their account from the Shared protocols tab at any time unless they're intentionally made private. Any edits made to shared protocols will update the protocol in patient accounts immediately.
