Fulfilling your order and possible partial shipments
Fulfilling your order
We do our best to ship your order in as few shipments as possible. However, inventory availability may require multiple shipments to complete your order. As each shipment leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive tracking information via email and on your Order history page, so you can track your packages in transit.
When to expect multiple (split/partial) shipments
All in-stock products are expected to arrive within the estimated delivery window displayed at checkout, even when shipped separately from multiple locations.
Orders shipping within the United States
Fullscript ships orders from five fulfillment centers: Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, Virginia, and Kansas. Most orders are shipped from the nearest location, but if a product isn’t available at your closest warehouse, it may ship from another. This can result in split or multiple shipments.
Orders shipping within Canada
A single warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, fulfills Canadian orders. Most orders will arrive in a single shipment.
Backorders and partial shipments (US orders only)
Partial shipments occur when some items in your order are out of stock (backordered). To prevent interruptions to plan adherence or in-office dispensing, we ship all in-stock items immediately and fulfill backordered items once they’re available. If an item isn’t restocked within 21 calendar days, it’s automatically canceled and refunded to the original payment method.
You’ll receive an email detailing each shipment’s contents. If an item is canceled, a refund confirmation email is also sent. No additional shipping fees apply to partial shipments.
Confirming your order will be delivered in multiple shipments
Log in and refer to your Order history page (patients) or Wholesale orders page (practitioners and staff) to check for the following:
- Multiple tracking numbers. This confirms items are shipping in multiple packages. Check each link for the whereabouts of each package.
- A Partially shipped label beneath your order number, indicating that some items have yet to be fulfilled. You can expect your order to arrive in multiple shipments.
- A Backordered label on products you haven’t received. This confirms an item is on backorder, and you can expect it to ship when it’s back in stock.
Suspected missing items
If you suspect an item is missing from your order, review your order in your order history and shipping confirmation emails first to confirm the item isn’t shipping separately.
If the missing item isn’t on its way, you can request a replacement.
