Backorders, out of stocks, and approximate restock dates

Product availability & statuses

Products in our catalogs are labeled with one of the following statuses to communicate their availability:

  • In stock: Currently available.
  • Backordered: Temporarily out of stock and typically replenished within 10-14 business days. Visible in US accounts only.
  • Out of stock: Out of stock and approximate restock date may be longer than 21 calendar days.
  • Discontinued: No longer available and unlikely to be available again in the future.

Availability issues can stem from unavoidable supply chain issues, including, but not limited to, trouble sourcing raw materials, disruptions to manufacturing practices, supplier-initiated recalls, reformulations, and delivery-related disruptions.

For patients and clients, we recommend exploring alternate sizes, similar products curated by Fullscript’s integrative medical advisory team, or signing up for an in-stock email notification. Patients can also reach out to their practitioners for help finding suitable in-stock alternatives.

Practitioners can also explore similar products in the practitioner catalog curated by our integrative medical advisory team or sign up for in-stock notifications to receive an email as products you’re watching come back in stock.

Note:

Catalog access is managed by practitioners and may not be available in all patient accounts. If catalog access isn’t available, please contact your practitioner for a suitable alternative.

Approximate restock dates

Approximate restock dates can be viewed for products if provided by the supplier. Restock dates are approximate and subject to change.

Most restock dates are displayed actively on most pages with the exception of the catalog. In the catalog, you can select a product to view its restock date on the product’s display page or, on computers, hover over a product’s status to view approximate restock dates.

We recommend signing up for in-stock notifications so we can email you as soon as products become available.

Filtering catalog search results to in-stock products only

The in-stock filter is available in both practitioner and patient catalogs and can be used to restrict search results to only products that have one or more available sizes in stock at that time.

To apply the in-stock filter:

  1. Search for a product or brand in the search field.
  2. Click Filters.
  3. Scroll down to the Availability category and click to expand.
  4. Check the In stock box to apply the filter to restrict your results to only products that are currently in stock/available.

Note:

Catalog access is managed by practitioners and may not be available in all patient accounts.

In-stock product notifications

Patients and practitioners can sign up to be notified via email when products come back in stock. Sign up by selecting the ellipsis icon ( ) on any backordered or unavailable product and clicking the Email when in stock box.

Tip!

Patients can disable product notifications from the communication preferences page at any time.

Location specifics

Orders shipping within the US

Backordered products can be included in orders shipping within the US. We’ll ship products as they become available and it’s very likely they’ll ship separately from other items in your order. Backordered products are charged at the time your order is placed, not as they ship. Products that aren’t shipped within 21 days of the order creation date will trigger an automatic cancellation and refund to the payment method used to place the order. If a refund is preferred for a backordered product in an open order, request a refund anytime.

Out of stock products can’t be ordered. We recommend exploring similar products or signing up for an in-stock notification to be notified when products are available to order. Patients can also reach out to their practitioners for help finding suitable in-stock alternatives.

Orders shipping within Canada

Only in-stock products can be included in orders shipping within Canada; products that are out of stock can’t be ordered. This means that you’ll be prevented from ordering more units of an item than what we have on hand at the warehouse.

We recommend exploring similar products or signing up for an in-stock notification to be notified when products are available to order. Patients can also reach out to their practitioners for help finding suitable in-stock alternatives.

Tip!

Sign up for an in-stock notification to receive an email when a product is available again.
