In this guide, you’ll learn how to check a patient’s lab status directly from the dashboard in your provider account.

To check the status of a patient’s test:
- Click the Patients tab in the left-hand navigation.

Incomplete tests and specimen issues
If you order labs, you know the testing process doesn’t always go as planned. Fullscript helps your team quickly spot and resolve issues so your patients stay on track with their testing and care.
The two most common issues with labs involve:
- Incomplete tests where the labs are missing critical information or enough sample quantity.
- Specimen issues when a sample doesn’t arrive at the lab in viable condition.
When an Incomplete test or Specimen issue status is identified, our labs team will send an email notification and begin resolving the problem. Fullscript handles these issues directly with the labs and coordinates any next steps with you and your patient, minimizing your involvement whenever possible.
If the patient needs a recollection kit, our team will manage that process. We’ll ensure your they receive a replacement kit, while keeping you informed every step of the way.
