Overview

Streamline your practice by tracking all your testing results from a single account—your team’s Fullscript login. Quickly send results to patients with personalized messages, and keep your data organized across your entire practice.

Fullscript offers both partial and complete lab results, enabling your team to access real-time result updates as soon as they become available, so you don’t have to wait for the entire report to be finalized.

Note:

If you have a pre-existing direct lab account and place a testing order through Fullscript, your results will no longer appear in your separate lab portal. All test results ordered through Fullscript will be available in one place– your Fullscript account.

Provider notification for test results

When your patient’s final lab testing results are ready, the ordering provider will receive an email notification with a link to view the results in their Fullscript account.

Note:

An email notification is sent for final results only, not partial results. Access real-time partial results at any time from your Fullscript account, but you will not be notified until the full results report is ready.

By default, lab results email notifications are enabled for all accounts. However, you can easily adjust this by navigating to Account Settings, choosing Preferences and toggling Lab result notifications off.

Adjust your settings to turn lab results email notifications on or off.

Viewing and downloading results

From the results notification email, you’ll be brought directly to your patient’s lab details page. Click View Results to open a PDF of the lab results and download them to your EHR. Your lab results will look identical to the PDFs you currently receive from the lab.

Accessing results from your lab orders dashboard

All patient results will be stored in your Fullscript account in your Lab orders dashboard to organize and visualize results in a single place. Anyone on your team’s account will be able to access, review and share results by:

  1. Finding Patients in the main left hand navigation
  2. Clicking Lab orders
Find the Lab orders dashboard under Patients in the main navigation.

From the dashboard, search for your patient by name or email. You can also use the top filter for Results available to see all tests available with partial or full results.

Sharing results with patients

Once you’re ready to share results with your patient, simply choose Share results with patient. To customize your patients results experience, add a personalized message to go over any next steps such as confirming how and when they will review results with you.

Once you click Share results, your patient will receive a notification email from Fullscript with a link to view their results in their account.

Note:

Patients have access to their testing results as soon as they become available from the labs but are not notified by email until a provider or staff member completes the step of sharing the results from their Fullscript account.

Clinical Consultations

Our lab partners provide valuable educational resources to help providers interpret their patients’ lab results. One of these free resources is known as a clinical consultation. All of our specialty lab partners offer this service to authorized providers. If you currently order directly from the labs, you will still be able to access these consultations when you order through Fullscript.

If you’re an unauthorized provider who needs the authorization network to recommend testing, two of our specialty lab partners: Precision Analytical (DUTCH) and Diagnostic Solutions will help connect you with educational resources. During our pilot, please reach out to our labs team to schedule a clinical consultation.
