Clinical consultations

Our lab partners offer one-on-one clinical consultations to help providers interpret patient lab results. These calls provide educational support and clinical guidance. For participating lab partners, you can now book a clinical consultation or view scheduling instructions directly from the Test details page once results are available. You can also contact lab partners directly using the information in this guide.

This guide explains who can book clinical consultations, how to schedule them from Fullscript, and how to contact each lab partner directly.

Providers using the authorization network

Providers who use the authorization network to recommend testing are not eligible to book clinical consultations. Only providers with full ordering access are eligible to schedule.

However, certain lab partners offer resources to all providers, including those using the authorization network:

• Diagnostic Solutions: Call 877-485-5336 to access educational resources.
• KBMO Diagnostics: Providers can schedule a clinical consultation by filling out the lab’s consultation request form.
• Tiny Health: Fill out the consultation request form. Must have Kit ID.
• 3X4 Genetics: The Elite Access 3X4 community is available to all providers.
• Cyrex Laboratories: Clinical education is available to any account holder.

Scheduling from Fullscript

If your lab partner supports in-app scheduling and your order is eligible, follow the steps below to access clinical consultation booking from the Test details page.

1. Click the Labs tab in the left-hand navigation, then click Orders.
2. Search for and open the lab order with available results.
3. On the Test details page, under Links and documents, click Book clinical consultation.

4. Follow the instructions provided by the lab partner. Depending on the lab, you may be asked to call, email, complete a form, or visit their scheduling page.

The information shown depends on the lab partner and may include a phone number, email address, online form, or other booking instructions.

Contacting lab partners directly

If the Book clinical consultation option isn’t available for your lab or you’d rather contact the lab directly, use the information below. Many labs require results before you can schedule a consultation.
