Switching to Quest

Providers

Starting November 3, 2025, Access Medical Labs will increase prices for Access Labcorp Draw tests across all customers, including Fullscript. To help keep testing affordable, we’ve expanded the Quest catalog and worked with Quest to lower their prices even further.

Keep reading to learn how to switch your lab templates, panels, and favorites to Quest.

Using the compare and swap tool

Review your existing templates, panels, and favorites, then swap Access Labcorp Draw tests for Quest equivalents to keep costs manageable for patients.

Note:

The compare and swap tooling will be live in the platform during the week of November 3rd.

Follow these steps to compare prices and switch to Quest:

  1. In the Labs Catalog, click Compare and swap tests.
Click Compare and swap tests.
  1. Review the side-by-side comparison showing:
    • Previous Labcorp pricing
    • New Labcorp pricing
    • Quest pricing (for equivalent tests)
  1. Click Switch to Quest next to any line you’d like to update, or Switch All to Quest to swap all of them quickly. When you switch, your selections update automatically to use Quest as the draw partner — no need to rebuild your templates or panels.

Note:

Your existing Labcorp panels and templates will stay intact. When you click Switch to Quest, we’ll create a copy of the originals and add “(Labcorp)” to their titles.

Key details

When are Access Labcorp price increases taking effect?

Access Labcorp price increases will take effect on November 3rd, 2025. These changes will apply to all Access Medical customers, including Fullscript and ordering direct. The new pricing set by Access Medical is based on when the order is paid, not when it’s created:

  • Orders paid before November 3 will reflect current rates.
  • Orders paid on or after November 3 will reflect the new pricing.

To avoid confusion, we recommend having patients complete checkout before November 3 or moving eligible orders to Quest, where pricing is already more affordable.

Which tests will be affected by Access Labcorp price increases?

The price increase applies to most tests in the Access Labcorp Draws catalog. It does not affect the Access Medical Labs offering, which is a separate catalog. In your Fullscript account, you’ll see these listed distinctly as “Access Labcorp Draw” and “Access Med Labs.”

How much of the catalog is impacted?

Today, about 70% of Quest tests are more affordable than Access Labcorp equivalents. The rest are similarly priced. On November 3rd, Access Medical will increase pricing on Access Labcorp tests and Quest pricing will remain the same. This means that for about 90% of tests, Quest will offer a more affordable option compared to Access Labcorp, with the rest similarly priced.

Will I still be able to order Access Labcorp tests?

Yes, Access Labcorp tests will remain available on Fullscript. You can continue ordering tests at the new, increased pricing that will take effect on November 3, 2025.

Will I lose access to any tests or markers that I order through Access Labcorp?

No, Quest will offer equivalent tests that you order through Access Labcorp. In fact, the Quest test catalog is about twice the size of the offering from Access Labcorp on Fullscript.

How do I switch from Access Labcorp tests to Quest tests on Fullscript?

Switching to Quest on Fullscript is seamless. Here’s how it works.

Will my patients lose access to Labcorp draw sites?

Patients can continue having their blood drawn at Labcorp draw sites for Access Medical Labcorp tests. For Quest tests, they will need to visit a Quest Patient Service Center. The good news is that 90% of patients in the U.S live within 20 miles of a Quest Patient Service Center.

Will there be any changes I should let my patients know about?

The patient experience stays the same. After you place an order, your patient will receive a digital requisition and a link to schedule with their nearest Quest Patient Service Center, right from their Fullscript account. Blood draws are still just $10, paid for alongside testing, and results are typically ready within 2–5 business days, depending on the biomarker.

What’s the blood draw fee for Quest tests?

Patients will continue to pay the same flat $10 fee to have their blood drawn at a Quest Patient Service Center.

Will I continue to receive result interpretations and summaries for Quest tests?

Yes, Quest tests will return results through Fullscript’s lab interpretations feature that include helpful visualizations, Optimal Ranges (including those you’ve set), and trends over time.

Will I be able to track the status of Quest tests in my dashboard?

Yes, you and your patients can track the status of Quest tests at each stage of the process. This includes order status, sample status, as well as partial and full results.

If I already have a Quest account, will my results flow to my current Quest (or Quanum) account?

All Quest orders placed through Fullscript flow directly into your dashboard, not your pre-existing lab account, just like all other labs ordered on the platform. This keeps every result in one centralized view without any extra logins.
