Labs on Fullscript is available across all 50 states, but test availability can vary depending on where you and your patient are located. This guide explains how location affects lab ordering and helps you find which lab partners are available for patients in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Hawaii.
How availability is determined
Lab availability by state is determined by our partner labs. For most labs, availability is based primarily on your patient’s shipping address. Some lab partners also limit availability for providers with practices located in New York.
Your labs catalog reflects these restrictions. If a test isn’t available based on where you or your patient are located, you won’t be able to add it to a plan. Use the Patient state filter in your labs catalog to see the tests currently available for patients in a specific state.

Orders for patients in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island are patient-pay only. Practitioner-pay and the authorization network aren't available for these orders.
If you’re a provider based in New Jersey or Rhode Island and work with patients outside your state, you can order from the complete Fullscript labs catalog. New York-based providers ordering for patients outside New York can order from the complete catalog except Access Medical, Diagnostic Solutions, and Mosaic.

Lab availability in Hawaii
Patients in Hawaii can order from a curated selection of labs based on shipping and sample-processing requirements. These restrictions help ensure samples can reach mainland labs in viable condition and are different from the billing restrictions that apply in New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
Most of the Fullscript labs catalog is available for Hawaii-based patients. The following labs aren’t currently available:
- Access Labcorp Draw
- DHA
- Genova
- Infinite Allergy Labs
- Quest Diagnostics
Practitioner-pay and the authorization network are available for orders for patients in Hawaii.
