In-office labs: Moving from Rupa to Fullscript
Providers
If your practice keeps specialty test kits or blood lab supplies on hand for patients, you can continue doing so on Fullscript.
Fullscript supports both in-office specialty kits and in-office blood labs, allowing you to order eligible inventory, keep it stocked in your practice, and dispense or collect samples during patient visits. This helps streamline testing, support same-day care, and give your team more flexibility in how testing is delivered.
If you currently have in-office inventory purchased through Rupa, there are a few important things you’ll want to know before getting started on Fullscript.
How in-office labs work on Fullscript
On Fullscript, you can:
- Order eligible specialty kits and blood lab inventory at no cost and keep them stocked in your practice.
- Manage in-office inventory in one place, including both specialty kits and blood testing supplies.
- Activate and dispense kits as needed during patient appointments.
- Complete blood draws the same day as patient appointments for faster follow-through.
- Track every order from a single platform, giving you visibility into patient progress and testing status.

What happens to existing Rupa kit inventory?
Fullscript uses a unique kit activation workflow that connects each physical specialty kit to a specific order. Because Rupa inventory isn’t connected to Fullscript orders, it can’t be carried over.
How to handle existing Rupa inventory:
- Continue using specialty kits purchased through Rupa until you move to Fullscript.
- Once you begin using Fullscript, any remaining Rupa specialty kit inventory should be discarded.
- Rupa specialty kit inventory can’t be transferred, activated, or linked to Fullscript orders.
Supplies used to support blood lab collections, such as collection tubes, gauze, and other phlebotomy materials, can continue to be used on Fullscript. Only specialty kits are affected by this change.

How to order inventory after your move
Once you complete your move to Fullscript, and have discarded your existing Rupa inventory of specialty kits, you can order new kits through Fullscript.
