Templates for labs

Providers

Templates help you build and send patient plans faster by grouping labs, specialty tests, and products into reusable plans. You can create your own templates or customize pre-made options from Fullscript’s Integrative Medical Advisory Team. If you only need to group biomarkers from a single lab company, use a custom panel instead.

Staff accounts can apply existing templates to patient plans but aren’t able to create new templates.

Tip!

If you’re looking to build a template that only includes supplements, check out Creating and applying templates.

Create a template

To create a template:

  1. From the left-hand navigation, click Labs, then select Catalog.
  2. Click Build panel or template, then select Template.

  1. Enter a Template name.
  2. Choose whether you’d like to share the template with All staff, Specific staff, or keep it private by selecting Only me.
  3. Click Next to begin building your template.
  4. Add items to the template by clicking Add to template next to any labs, panels, or other catalog items.

Tip!

You can also add products and resources from the catalog to the same template with testing.

  1. After you’ve added the items you want to include, click Review template in the upper-right corner.
  2. Review the template details, make any final adjustments (such as adding notes or setting fasting requirements), then click Save template.

To use a template in a new plan:

Note:

Labs can’t be included in multi-patient plans. Patients can only access the testing catalog or lab templates through a provider-recommended individual plan sent to them directly.

  2. Click the template you’d like to edit or delete.
