Overview: Referral program

With Fullscript’s referral program, practitioners of profit accounts can get 5% bonus margin on all patient orders for 30 days up to a maximum of $225 USD / $275 CAD during the referral period. Refer again, and extend the bonus period by another 30 days!

Referring practitioners to Fullscript

Dispensary owners and practitioners can visit the referral dashboard to get the dispensary’s referral link or send a direct referral by email.

When your referral signs up and submits their credentials for review, your 5% referral bonus is enabled for 30 days.

To send a referral invite by email, copy your referral link, or share a referral post with your network:

  1. Go to the Referral program dashboard by selecting your initials or avatar from the bottom-right corner of your screen and selecting the Referral program page. Click here to go there now.

  1. Select Refer a practitioner.

  1. Choose how you’d like to refer your peers to Fullscript: by referral link, sharing to your socials, or by sending an email.

Note:

At this time, the referral page isn’t accessible to clerks.

Invite with your referral link & socials

When sharing with your network, you can choose to copy and share your referral link on your own or create a post for supported socials (Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn). Selecting a socials button will direct you to the native app and generate a message template that includes your unique referral link. You can customize this message before posting your referral link to your account.

Send an email invitation

Inviting individual referrals will send an invitation email with your referral link. When selected, the referral is taken to the sign-up page where they can sign up for Fullscript.

To send a referral email, enter your contact’s first name, last name, and email address in the referral modal and click Send referral.

Note:

If an account with the email entered already exists, an error message will be displayed and the invite will not be sent.

Referral statuses

Referrals and their referral status are displayed on your Referral dashboard as they sign up from your referral link or an email invitation. Below are the various statuses assigned to referrals on the referral dashboard.

Referral sent

An email referral has been sent, but the user hasn’t signed up or completed their account.

Completing account

The referral has signed up, but the account’s status is incomplete. Accounts must be completed within 60 days to activate the referral bonus.

5% applied

The referral completed their account and the 30-day bonus period is active.

Tip! An account is considered complete if they sign up and uploaded credentials are approved within 60 days.

Referred
  1. The referral completed their account and the 30-day bonus period has lapsed; or,
  2. The referral completed their account but isn’t an eligible referral due to any of the following reasons:
    • The referral is a student.
    • Your dispensary has already received the referral bonus offer for 12+ qualifying referrals.
    • Your dispensary has opted out of the referral bonus offer.
Expired

The referral didn’t complete their account within 60 days and the referral has expired.

Tip!

To remove expired referrals or clean up your referral dashboard, click the more options menu ( ) on any referral and select Delete.

Bonus payments & reporting

Bonuses are included in your payouts that are deposited into the dispensary’s active bank account; only one bank account can be active at one time.

After your first successful payout, staff members with access to reports can refer to the Net Proceeds column in payout reports to review and allocate referral bonus payments.

Note:

Financial reports are available after your first successful payout and are only accessible to dispensary owners and staff with reports access.

Opting in/out of referral bonuses

If you’d like to refer your network to Fullscript but aren’t interested in receiving the 5% bonus margin, visit your Permissions page in Dispensary settings to disable the referral bonus. 0% profit accounts are opted out of the bonus by default, but can choose to opt in by enabling the Referral bonus settings from the Permissions page. Only dispensary owners can modify this setting.
