Pricing and service fee parity when you move from Rupa to Fullscript

Providers

When you start ordering labs on Fullscript, you may notice some prices look different than what you’re used to seeing in Rupa. Your total price on Fullscript will be the same or lower than on Rupa—even if individual line items look different at first glance.

How prices compare

Fullscript maintains competitive cash-pay pricing on blood labs and matches the same lowest provider pricing on specialty labs you get ordering on Rupa (or directly from the lab). For an accurate comparison between platforms, look at the total cart price (not just the displayed test price) and whether the order includes blood labs vs. specialty kits since service fees apply differently.

The biggest difference is where the service fee applies:

  • Fullscript: 3% service fee applies to specialty kits only.
  • Rupa: 7% service fee applies across all tests.

On Fullscript, the 3% service fee doesn’t apply to blood labs or additional line items like sample collection or provider-set custom fees.

The result is a simpler, more transparent pricing model—and for many orders, a lower total cart price.

Why Access Medical pricing may look higher on Fullscript

You might notice that the displayed price of some Access Medical Labs tests looks different on Fullscript, even when you’re ordering the same testing.

This is expected, and it doesn’t mean you’re paying more. Fullscript doesn’t apply a service fee to blood labs. On Rupa, the 7% service fee was applied to blood labs and added to every line item. On Fullscript, blood lab pricing is structured so you’ll see the same or lower total cost at checkout.
