An Introduction to Salus EMR

Salus EMR is a cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant electronic medical record (EMR) platform tailored for specialty practices, particularly medical spas. It offers an integrated suite of tools, including electronic charting, e-prescribing, customizable templates, lab integration, and a patient portal, all accessible via a secure, paperless system. Designed for scalability and customization, Salus EMR supports revenue management through features like recurring billing, treatment plans, and patient financing.

This integration is only available to US-based practitioners.

Integration setup: Salus EMR + Fullscript

To set up the integration between Salus EMR and Fullscript:

  1. Log in to Salus EMR.
  2. Click the icon on the top right and select Profile in the dropdown.

  1. Scroll down and switch the Do you wish to connect Fullscript? toggle to Yes.
  2. Click the Connect Fullscript Account button.

  1. You’ll be prompted to sign up or sign in to a Fullscript account.
Sign in or Sign Up to Fullscript.
  1. After signing up or logging in, click the Agree button to complete the integration.
Click Agree to finish the integration.
  1. The page will return to the Salus EMR portal and you’ll receive notice that you’ve successfully connected to Fullscript.

Creating a Fullscript plan in Salus EMR

To create a new Fullscript plan in the Salus integration:

  1. Click Patients in the top navigation bar.
Click the Patients tab.
  1. Select the desired patient from the list.
  2. In the patient’s profile, click the Fullscript button near the top of the page.

  1. A new tab will open to the Fullscript Review Plan screen with the patient already selected. Add products, resources, and labs to the plan in the same way you would using the plan building tool on Fullscript.
  2. Click Send to patient (or Send to client depending on your terminology settings on Fullscript) to finish the plan.

  1. Once you’re back in Salus EMR, refresh the page and click the Fullscript tab on the right side of the page. The recently sent plan, with products and date, will be shown there.
