An introduction to Healthie

Healthie is a practice management and telehealth platform for nutritional care. It is HIPAA-compliant and was made specifically for dietitians, nutritionists, health coaches, and other health and wellness professionals looking to grow a private practice and build ongoing relationships with clients.

This integration is available for Fullscript users in the US and Canada

Integration setup: Healthie + Fullscript 

Administrators in Healthie can activate the Fullscript integration for their clinic and manage other users’ access.

Note:

Only Administrators and Standard roles in Healthie have the ability to use the Fullscript integration.

To integrate your account with Fullscript as a Healthie administrator:

  1. On the Healthie homepage, navigate to the Gear Icon ( ) in the top right corner and select Settings.
  2. In the left-hand menu, navigate to the Features section, then click on Integrations. Integrations
  3. Scroll down to the Nutritional Tools section, and click Manage next to the Fullscript widget.
  4. Click on Set up Fullscript. You will then be directed to authorize the Healthie + Fullscript integration. If you have pop-ups disabled on your browser, please enable them for Healthie only and then click Set up Fullscript again.
  5. Click I agree and close the Fullscript tab. You’ll be redirected to the Healthie homepage.Clicking I agree

Setting permissions for secondary practitioners

The Admin User of the Healthie account can then choose whether or not each Healthie member can see the option to use Fullscript, and if so, whether they can integrate their own Fullscript account or be added as/matched to a sub-practitioner in the original dispensary.

To manage these permissions:

  1. Click the Gear Icon ( ).
  2. Click Organization.
  3. Click Members.
  4. Hover your cursor over the user you’d like to manage the permissions for, and click the ellipses ( ), then click Edit settings.
  5. Click Permissions on the left-hand side, then scroll down to the Fullscript heading to view the permissions toggles.

Integrating with a non-admin user

After your Healthie admin grants you access to the Fullscript integration, set up your integration:

  1. Go to Clients and open a client you want to write a recommendation for.
  2. Select the Fullscript tab, then choose Connect with Fullscript to link your account.Clicking Connect with Fullscript.

Tip!

If you don’t see the Fullscript tab, contact your Healthie admin. If you don’t see the Connect with Fullscript button, contact Healthie Support to enable it.

  1. Sign in to your existing Fullscript account or create a new one.
  2. Review permissions and select I agree. You’ll be redirected to the Healthie homepage.

Creating a recommendation

To write a Fullscript plan in Healthie:

  1. Go to Clients. Add a new client or open an existing client.
  2. In the client profile, click on the Fullscript tab. This will load any of the client’s existing Fullscript recommendations (if they’re on Fullscript already). 
  3. Select Add Product Recommendation (the Fullscript redirect button) to write a recommendation for a specific client using Fullscript.

  4. After sending or updating the plan, head back to the patient’s profile in Healthie and refresh the page to see the new recommendation.

Tip!

Only supplement recommendations appear in the Fullscript tab. Lab recommendations don’t sync to this tab.

Viewing lab results in Healthie (US Only)

When a Fullscript lab is ordered (paid for) on Fullscript (either by the provider processing an in-office checkout or by the patient directly), the lab order details will sync into the “Labs” tab in the main left-hand navigation.

When the final results of a lab order are ready, these results will be updated in the Labs tab. Click View to navigate to the Client Documents and access the specific lab result.

Frequently asked questions

How do I disconnect the Fullscript + Healthie integration?

  1. Sign in to your Fullscript account.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Integrations.
  4. Choose Healthie, then select Disconnect.

If I edit a treatment plan in Fullscript, will the Healthie chart entry update?

No. Once a chart recommendation is created in Healthie, later changes in Fullscript won’t update that chart entry.

I don’t see “Integrations” in my Healthie settings. What now?

You likely aren’t an administrator on your Healthie account. Contact your Healthie admin to enable the Fullscript integration for you.

I have a Healthie “support” role. Can I use the Fullscript integration?

Not at this time. The Healthie integration with Fullscript supports administrator and standard roles only.

Tip!

If you plan to connect a different Fullscript account afterward, disconnect it in Settings, then Integrations on Fullscript first, then reconnect from the Fullscript tab in your Healthie client’s profile.
