Biocanic integration

An introduction to Biocanic

Biocanic is a platform enabling practitioners to take on and manage more clients while driving enhanced engagement and improving the outcomes of their clients. This is accomplished by collecting objective health data from parts of the body and then combining the desire and motivation to empower people to be a health detective.

Note:

The Biocanic + Fullscript integration is only available in the US.

Integration setup: Biocanic + Fullscript

The Biocanic + Fullscript integration is set up and activated using OAuth. You don’t need to go to a specific page to integrate; instead, when you recommend supplements to a Fullscript patient for the first time (i.e., create their first recommendation), the integration will request permission to integrate with Fullscript using OAuth.

To integrate Biocanic with your Fullscript account:

  1. In Biocanic, click the Clients menu from the top of the page, then select Client List.
  2. Select a client to create a recommendation for.
  3. Scroll down to Supplement Protocols and click Add New Protocol.
clicking add new protocol to integrate

  4. From the Create New Supplement Protocol page, click Integrate Fullscript. A modal will open outlining next steps. Once completed, click Integrate Fullscript.
  5. The Fullscript authorization modal will load, prompting you to log in with your Fullscript credentials (username and password).
  6. Click Authorize Application.

Fullscript integration in multi-practitioner accounts

The Biocanic platform allows one user per account; therefore, you will need your own Biocanic account. If you have a multi-practitioner Fullscript dispensary integrated with Biocanic, you will be prompted to select a Fullscript practitioner account to finish setting up the integration.

Creating a Fullscript recommendation in Biocanic

When you start a recommendation in Biocanic, you’ll be redirected to a Fullscript window to write and send a recommendation with Fullscript’s treatment plan tool.

Tip!

The first time a Fullscript application is authorized, you’ll be redirected to a new recommendation window automatically.

To start a new recommendation in Biocanic:

  1. Select a client profile and scroll down to the Supplement Protocols section.
  2. Click Add New Protocol.
  3. Select Recommend Fullscript.

  5. Fullscript’s treatment plan tool will open in a new tab. Here, create the recommendation just as you would in Fullscript by adding products, specifying dosage, adding a message, and adding attachments.
  6. Return to Biocanic and click Refresh. When the new recommendation has loaded, the user can edit the recommendation to set a supplement schedule.
