Searching with ingredient filters (include/exclude)
Include ingredients filter
When searching by ingredient, use the Include ingredients catalog filter to return products with specific ingredients. You can also set a desired dose range and/or restrict results to only include products with selected ingredients with the Only search these ingredients toggle.
Tip! Fullscript's ingredient library provides practitioners with in-depth reviews of ingredients commonly found in supplements.
To apply the Include ingredients filter:
- In the search field, search for an ingredient then select an ingredient filter result.
- Click Filters.
- Click the Include ingredients filter, then set a range and specify a unit of measure.
- Use the Search for ingredients field to specify additional ingredients that must be included in the formulation. If results should only include products with specified ingredients, flip the Include only these ingredients toggle to On.
Exclude ingredients filter
While you search, you can also use the Exclude ingredients filter to omit products containing ingredients you'd like to avoid from your results.
To apply the Exclude ingredients filter:

Product availability, statuses, and approximate restock dates
As you navigate the catalog, you can identify products that can't be shipped immediately with the following statuses:
- Backordered: Temporarily out of stock and typically replenished within 10-14 business days. Products with this status can be included in US orders only.
- Out of stock: Unavailable, and the approximate restock date may be longer than 21 calendar days. Products with this status can't be ordered or included in supplement plans.
- Discontinued: No longer available and unlikely to be available again in the future. Products with this status can't be ordered or included in supplement plans.
If provided by suppliers, approximate restock dates are displayed directly on the platform. These dates are displayed on most pages, with the exception of the catalog, where space is limited. You can either hover over a product's status or select a product to view the restock date (if available) on the product's display page.
Availability issues can stem from unavoidable supply chain issues, including, but not limited to, trouble sourcing raw materials, disruptions to manufacturing practices, supplier-initiated recalls, and delivery-related disruptions. To be notified when products become available, sign up for an in-stock product notification.
